Hearing Postponed For Former Sheriff’s Deputy

A sentencing hearing was postponed Monday after a prosecutor recommended an aggravated sentence for a former Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputy. 38-year-old Jerry Lee Parks was arrested in September 2017 after agreeing to hold 12 pounds of pot for his nephew. Parks resigned from his post soon thereafter and pleaded guilty to aiding, inducing or causing dealing in marijuana.
