Blackford Commissioners Okay Montpelier Rezoning

Blackford County Commissioners have voted to rezone an 80-acre farm south of Montpelier for industrial use. Earlier, the Area Plan Commission had given the rezoning an unfavorable recommendation. Director of the Blackford County Economic Development Corporation says, despite the rumors, there are currently there is no deal in place with any companies that may want to locate there.
