State Audit Cites Anderson For Insufficient Documentation
In an audit of Anderson city government for 2017, the Indiana State Board of Accounts found a lack of documentation for credit card expenditures from the mayor’s office to the city controller. According to the Herald Bulletin, the report was critical of the city not having a WRITTEN policy. Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr. says the city has a procedure and policy in place, and intends to have it formalized by the Anderson City Council.
