Negotiations Underway For Land Adjacent To Nestle

The Anderson Redevelopment Commission has voted to start negotiations to purchase property adjacent to the Nestle plant. The commission will negotiate for the purchase of 44 acres that has been at the center of discussion regarding a rail spur leading to the Nestle facility. The commission, which has received two appraisals, can offer the seller only the average of the two appraisals.
