No Chickens In The City Limits

The first request for a variance for keeping chickens in Anderson has died as the result of a tie vote by the Board of Zoning Appeals. The board deadlocked 2-2 on the request for a variance to keep up to 25 hens on more than 5 acres on West 53rd Street. The filers of the variance request now have 30 days to appeal the decision.
