MCS Board To Recommend Teacher Reductions
A reduction in the number of teachers at Muncie Community Schools: It’s on the agenda of the school board meeting set for Friday. It is expected that there will be a recommendation to cancel three teacher contracts and eliminate another 28 teaching positions. With a cost savings would be nearly 1-million-800-dollars. The newly-created MCS School Board, led by Ball State, takes over July 1st.
