Anderson Man Accused Of Trying To Beat Wife To Death

His bond has been set at $35,000 cash. A 55-year-old Anderson man has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to beat his wife to death.  Anthony T. Johnson faces felony charges of attempted murder, domestic battery, criminal confinement, and invasion of privacy. Police say an argument over his use of pain pills started the incident.
