Hospital Must Appear Before State Board

Reid Health in Richmond has been ordered to appear before the Indiana Pharmacy Board to explain what the hospital is doing to guard against opioid diversion. Reid has been summoned to a hearing on Feb. 12 concerning the thefts of opioids by nursing staff. The hospital has been ordered to show cause why the renewal of their state Controlled Substance Registration should not be denied.
