Alexandria Schools Asking For $19.3 Million Referendum

Alexandria Community Schools is asking taxpayers to approve a facilities bond referendum. School officials this week held a hearing in hopes of a $19.3 million facilities bond payable over 19 years. The school plans a required public hearing at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 as required by the state for districts seeking bond referenda.
