Hearing Tonight On State Takeover Of MCS

Should the state designate Muncie Community Schools as a “distressed political subdivision”? That is the subject of a public hearing at 6 tonight at Northside Middle School. A decision of YES means the state-appointed emergency manager would have total control over both the superintendent and the school board.
