MadCo Council Approves 2018 Budget

The Madison County Council has approved a $38.8 million budget for 2018.  A week ago, the council voted to approve the budget after a last-minute attempt to reduce spending by 5 percent failed when most elected officials and department heads failed to make recommendations on how to make the reductions.
