Council Votes To Fire Reserve Officer

The Ingalls Town Council has voted to fire Reserve Officer Joe Puig for a 2011 transaction in which he bought a municipal Dodge Charger allegedly without approval from city officials. It’s not the first time the town has taken action against an officer for improper purchase. In February, the council suspended then-Town Marshal Rick Martin after he purchased a squad car without consent.
