Governor Signs Alcohol Bill

Governor Eric Holcomb has signed a controversial alcohol bill – no more carry out cold beer permits will be issued to establishments that are not “traditional restaurants” by legal definition. Ricker’s convenient stores are the exception because they were approved for cold beer sales before the law was signed. Their permit goes through the end of the year, and that is when they can apply for renewal.
