Tax Bills Up For Some, Down For Others

Homeowners saw fluctuations in their Delaware County tax bills. The spring bills were mailed to more than 45-thousand taxpayers last week. The bills are due May 10th and ultimately there are challenges from more than a few residents. The Star Press reports it’s difficult to say how many bills went up and how many went down because there are ultimately 45 tax units in the county including Muncie, the county itself, towns, school districts and many more. Also, more than a few of the units overlap.
