Flu cases are prompting IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and IU Health Blackford Hospital to restrict visitors. They want to protect patients and staff from unnecessary potential exposure. The restrictions in place mean, as of Friday (TODAY), Only essential visitors 18 and over can visit patients. Also, visitors who have flu-like symptoms will not be allowed. Those include fever, chills, headache, cough, sore throat and muscle aches. The restriction is in place until further notice.
