Henry County Wind Farm Moves Forward

The Apex wind project in Henry County is moving forward.  Apex company officials say the project, which is planned to span Henry and Rush counties, will lead to $2.6 million in direct payments to local schools and a one-time economic development payment of $2.4 million. Their project, Flat Rock Wind, is also estimated to provide $18 million in property tax revenue.
