Pence, Cruz take the RNC floor

Reaction to Mike Pence’s speech at the Republican National Convention is as mixed as one could expect. Supporters believe his rousing speech attempting to unify the party was exactly what needed to be said. But Pence was upstaged by a reluctant Ted Cruz, who failed to endorse Donald Trump while encouraging people to vote their conscience. One comment called Cruz’s statements “political suicide.”
