Mobile home fire caused by french fries

An update on the story last Friday where a man died in a mobile home fire in the 1500 block of East McGalliard Rd. The Fire department is saying a cooking accident claimed 26-year-old Edward Hamilton’s life. A family member said Hamilton was getting ready to cook french fries in skillet when she left not long before the fire. Hamilton died of smoke inhalation.
