Muncie man sent to prison for P.O. box thefts

A former Muncie man has been sent to prison for breaking into p.o. boxes at the Post Office near Lucas Oil Stadium. 35-year-old Bryon Fisher used a crowbar to pry open the boxes and took over 6,000 pieces of mail from there and other locations. The U.S. Attorney said in some cases, the stolen mail lead to victims having their utilities cut off. Fisher was sentenced to 3 and a half years in federal prison.
