Winter Storm Fern: Power Update, 1/24/26, 2 p.m.

“At this time, Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is not reporting any significant outages due to the extreme cold and expected snowfall. Where we may have scattered outages, our line crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to our customers amid the freezing temperatures.”

Duke Energy has 43 customers out – with 40 of those in the Lafayette area (not likely related to Fern).

Center Point Energy in far southern Indiana only has one outage, and the snow has started in that part of the state.

City of Anderson, IN power has no outages.
