Solar Farm Nixed in Madison County

Plans for the Lone Oak solar facility in northern Madison County have been abandoned by its developer, Invenergy.  According to The Herald Bulletin, Invenergy says they couldn’t begin work on the facility, citing a pending lawsuit by remonstrators that hindered financing, the COVID-19 pandemic and related supply-chain issues.
