Outfitters Expanding in Madison County

A recent ribbon cutting for non profit Outfitters of Pendleton found a partner closet location in the Elwood Y. The new partnership comes with some help from Heart of Indiana United Way. Executive Director Carrie Bale explained that children in immediate need can go to the new location and get two outfits per child, and can then subsequently visit the Pendleton location for longer term needs. Bale said the numbers demonstrate the need for the need, citing the assistance for over 2000 children last year.
