Muncie Woman Gets 35 Year Sentence For Baby’s Injuries

A Muncie woman whose infant daughter suffered multiple bone fractures has been sentenced to 35 years in prison. According to the Star Press, a jury in April deliberated for about an hour before finding 26-year-old Montana Alexis Davis guilty of neglect of a dependent resulting in catastrophic injury, a Level 1 felony carrying up to 40 years in prison. Judge Judi Calhoun imposed the 35-year prison term at a Wednesday hearing.
