MCS Students Benefitting From IREAD Program

Muncie Community Schools has seen a 14% increase in students IREAD-3 (state reading assessment) scores since 2022, reports the Star Press. The increase outpaces the state, which has seen slightly less than a 2% increase in scores. MCS believes this improvement is from the switch in reading curriculum from Fountas & Pinnell to CKLA in August 2023.
