16 Year Old Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle In Madison County

An investigation is underway after a 16-year-old from Tipton was struck and killed by a driver in Elwood late Saturday night. Reports the crash happened at the intersection 9th and Main Streets around 11:59 p.m.
The crash victim was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood after the crash. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
