Apology From Republican Leader

The following statement was posted on social media, shortly after the Saturday Town Hall conducted by 5th District Congresswoman Victoria Spartz, held at Muncie City Hall Auditorium:

“I have personally apologized to U.S. Rep. Spartz for the local left’s disruptive, disrespectful, and immoral behavior. Shouting down an elected official is unacceptable and goes against the principles of civil discourse and Hoosier hospitality. More and more residents are realizing that today’s Democratic Party is not the same as it once was. We invite the people of Delaware County to join our local Republican Party, which stands for common sense values and respectful dialogue.”

Tim Overton – Delaware County Republican Chairman
