Murder Sentencing in Madison County

Demarcus Davis and Roger Rodriguez have both been sentenced to 96 years each for for the June 27, 2023, shooting death of Timothy Kates in Anderson.  The sentence was imposed yesterday by Madison Circuit One Judge Angela Warner Sims after their conviction last month by a Madison Circuit One jury. Both Davis and Rodriguez were found  guilty of murder and armed robbery. The Madison County Prosecutor said their sentences were enhanced for both being habitual offenders.
