Delaware County Council Opposing Property Tax Reform Efforts

Delaware County Council this week expressed opposition to property tax reform efforts at the Indiana Statehouse that could lead to job losses for county government. According to the Star Press, the current version of the tax legislation pending before the General Assembly would reportedly cut $1.8 million from the county budget in 2026.
