Murder Convictions in Madison County
According to Madison County Chief Deputy Prosecutor, Andrew Hanna, after a four-day joint trial, a Madison County Circuit 1 jury found Demarcus Davis and Roger Rodriguez guilty of Murder and Armed Robbery. Their convictions were for the June 2023, shooting death of Timothy Kates in Anderson. Both Davis and Rodriguez admitted to being habitual offenders. Hanna said the jury deliberated for about three hours. Judge Angela Warner Sims has set sentencing for February 10th. Each faces a maximum sentence of 85 years.
