Anderson Woman Charged With Leaving Scene Of Deadly Accident

An Anderson woman has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash causing a death. The incident occurred at about 9:10 p.m. on Friday in the 2200 block of North Wayne Street at its intersection with Northcrest Drive. Police allege that Alisha Garza, 39, Anderson, was northbound on North Wayne Street when she fatally struck Terry Coffey Sr., 78, Hudson, who was walking in the street.
