Anderson City Council Selects Redistricting Map
In a special meeting last night, the Anderson City Council selected a new district map to submit to a federal court judge. The council was ordered to do so by January 17th, as part of a suit filed against them by The NAACP, Common Cause of Indiana and League of Women Voters. In all, the council had ten maps to choose from and selected a map designated as “H” to submit which passed the three required readings.
