Water Rescue Wednesday Night

A water rescue in Madison County yesterday evening as temps were dropping. Scanner traffic just after 8pm heard East Madison Fire Territory and Anderson Fire Department boat units being dispatched to the area of 650 North and 425 east for a car in the creek.  As units arrived they found the vehicle submerged over its hood. Dispatchers received a call from female who said she was the lone occupant of the vehicle. She reported that she was able to escape and make it to a nearby relative’s house.  There was no word on what, if any, injuries she sustained.
