55 year old Jeffrey A. Morris of Elwood, was arrested Sunday by Elwood police on charges of burglary, domestic battery with a deadly weapon, intimidation with a deadly weapon and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. The Herald Bulletin reports police were dispatched to the 1200 block of East 25th Street after a call that someone was hitting a door with a hatchet. Morris was identified as the alleged suspect and arrested.
