In a Facebook past last week, the Hamilton Township Volunteer Fire Company wanted to address recent events involving former Fire Chief Douglas Firestone and his wife, Fire Department Treasurer Kerri Firestone.  On April 12th, 2024, in Delaware County, the Firestones were arrested on multiple charges following an investigation within our organization.  The release included, “We understand that the actions of the Firestones may have cast a shadow over our reputation, but we are determined to regain your trust as we continue to serve you diligently.”  Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 765-282-4041 or reach out to the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office or the State Police.

The Spirit of Muncie Central Band and Guard, and Pendleton Heights Marching Arabians are among the 15 selected to march in the 500 Festival Parade on May 25th.


Weather permitting today, the annual Smash Cancer event happens when Delta High School Tennis goes to Yorktown for the 12th event.  5:00 p.m. ceremony with match to follow.  We’re hoping to have coach Tim Cleland from Delta as a guest this morning on WMUN Delaware County Today, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
