Lapel Woman Can Proceed With Lawsuit In ‘Good Samaritan’ Accident

A Lapel woman who was severely injured while being a Good Samaritan at an I-69 accident scene will be able to sue the state for negligence in designing a roadway under construction. According to the Herald Bulletin, on Tuesday, the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that the state could not claim immunity from her lawsuit. The decision allows the injured woman to pursue a complaint against the state and the city of Fishers.
