Council Agrees To Raises For County Prosecutors

Delaware County Council has agreed to just under $11,000 salary increases requested by County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman to aid in retaining the nine deputy prosecutors and recruit more . The Star Press reports the decision by council followed Hoffman’s urgent warnings of a potential collapse of the prosecutor’s office as well as warnings of legal action he could take against the County Council if the salary requests weren’t met.
