A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by former employee Anikka King against the city of Anderson. The Herald Bulletin reports King filed the lawsuit in 2021 alleging she was discriminated against based on her race and exposed to a racially hostile work environment. She said she was bypassed on two jobs where people with fewer qualifications were hired.
