Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr. will seek an additional $2.5 million from the Anderson Redevelopment Commission to continue the blight elimination program. Broderick said the city used federal money to demolish about 200 homes and he says with the extra funding they could raze not just residential, but also commercial and industrial properties as well.
