NC Company Buys All Steel Carports Facility In Yorktown

A lease on life for the All Steel Carports facility in Yorktown that was built along Ind. 332 but never used. The Star Press reports it’s been sold to a North Carolina company that plans to produce steel structures at the site and hire about 40 employees when full-time operations begin. Northedge Steel paid $5.5 million and expects to invest an additional $500,000 in the property.
