47 year old Martez Powell is scheduled to be released from prison soon after being sentenced in 1994 for shooting and killing a pizza delivery driver at the 400 Apartments complex on West Riverside Avenue. In recent months, Powell was transferred from prison to a “community re-entry center” in South Bend. He is scheduled to be released on March 11.
