Muncie Animal Care and Services is holding its annual “12 Strays of Christmas” event. The initiative runs throuogh December 23rd and offers up dogs and cats for adoption for $12 each. Usually the fee is $100 for dogs and $65 for cats. The shelter is discouraging the purchase of pets as Christmas gifts for people outside the home of those acquiring the animal.
