Shots rang out near the Ball State campus Thursday and now a man is under arrest. They were heard along the 100 block of South Dicks Street. Police ended up at an apartment at 111 S. Dicks St. and arrested 34 year old Daytreion Jones on counts of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
