The new 911 director for Delaware County is Bernard Cummings. He’ll be here in mid January, arriving from a Minneapolis suburb where has been a shift supervisor. Cummings has more than 30 years working in public safety, starting at the age of 16 as a Fire Explorer in his hometown in New Hampshire.
