Police say a Blackford County deputy’s vehicle was struck this week by a car traveling at more than a hundred miles an hour. Deputy Chris Broderick was in a Dodge Ram pick up owned by the department at the time, when he was hit on Ind. 18 at about 5:40 Sunday morning. The other driver, Juan Hernandez of Ohio wa charged with drunken driving.
