Ivy Tech Community College, in concert with the NAACP Muncie Branch and Indiana Michigan Power are launching the Muncie Youth Empowerment Program this week. The Star Press reports it will give 50 minority high school students opportunities in education and leadership training. They hope to expand minority students’ experiences and opening doors to higher learning.
