A murder conviction for a 20-year-old Portland woman in a Jay County man’s shooting death. The Star Press reports Shelby Nichole Hiestand was found guilty after a three day trial, stemming from the killing in January 2020 of 31 year old Shea Briar. The judge in the case set sentencing for September 24th.
