A former Muncie police officer faces up to three years in prison. The Star Press reports 32 year old Daniel Kurtz pleaded guilty Wednesday after being accused of failing to report that fellow officer Chase Winkle kicked and struck a teenager in the head after the youth had led officers on a foot chase following a vehicle crash. The attack took place on June 5, 2018.
