Muncie Man Behind Bars On Fraud Charges Gets Early Release

A Muncie man serving time for conspiracy to commit fraud on a financial institution has been granted an appeal for early release. The Star Press reports 52 year old Kenneth Wayne Herbert had been sentenced to six years in prison in March 2019 after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud on a financial institution. A judge granted his request in November but his release was held up for a time after prosecutors filed a motion to correct error.
