Foundation Makes Pledge To Help Area Food Banks

The Madison County Community Foundation has pledged $100,000 to help food pantries across the county. The Herald Bulletin reports the foundation is working with food banks in the weeks and months to come to try to make sure they have what they need to meet demands. There are about a dozen food pantries operating locally according to Second Harvest Food Bank’s website curehunger.org.
