A new home in New Castle for the Street Department after a June fire at the city’s street garage completely destroyed its dump trucks, salt trucks and snow plows as well as equipment for road repair. The Star Press reports the new garage is located at 289 on Ind. 38 and the 15 acre site already has the buildings that the department will need to operate.
